About us
LIFE-GIVERS MISSIONS
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), the organization was founded in March 2010 by Bishop Joe Kwapong, along with wife Vicky Kwapong & family.
LGM began its widow’s-mite operation with a seven-member team to the underprivileged and homeless in abandoned buildings, under bridges and street-corners of downtown Atlanta, distributing pastries and water, but soon extended these to hot meals, personal hygiene products, blankets, coats/jackets and used shoes.
Influenced by our family matriarchs and patriarchs with a heart for the less privileged, who opened their homes to all and virtually had a soup-kitchen from their Dansoman and Labone residences in Accra (Ghana), in the late 1970s, the passion, commitment, drive and leadership that we bring to this outreach is exemplary.
